 Diving is from bancas, which are long narrow outriggers. January to June is generally the dry season, and July to December the wet. There is more risk of typhoons between May and November.

Visibility is generally good, except between June to September, where it can vary from 10 to 15 metres. (Although we had 20 metres). Temperature ranges from 24-28 C with February being the coldest month.

Current: The tidal range at Anilao is quite big. So, depending on the dive site the current may vary from very light to very strong. Some sites are recommended for experienced divers only. It pays to get local advice.
